Happiness consists of many components, including loving family and faithful friends. Both these social groups are very important for each person. Everyone needs support, love and attention. When we are happy, we need close people to share our happiness with them. When we are sad, we need family and friends to support us.

I think that those, who have at least two or three really close and trustworthy people beside them, are really lucky. In my opinion, family is much more important than money, success or fame. After all, parents are the only people who love us the way we are. They will always be on our side, no matter what happens. Friends are also important, but we can never be sure how true they will stay to us in different situations. Sometimes friends can betray. It isn’t easy to find true and faithful friends, but when we do, they stay for a lifetime and become as close as the family.

As for me, I have two best friends and we know each other from the nursery. Their names are Rose and Ella. Today we study together at the 10th form and I hope that we will all stay best friends forever. We all love foreign languages, so we might enter the same university. Last year, we took part in an international exchange program. During this event together with our teacher we visited USA and then hosted our English penfriends in Kazan.

Speaking about my family, it is always on the first place for me. Apart from parents I have a younger sister and a grandmother, who lives with us. They are always there for me, when I need help or support.

Когда мы счастливы, мы хотим поделиться нашим счастьем с близкими нам людьми. Когда нам грустно, мы нуждаемся в поддержке семьи и друзей.

Что касается меня, у меня есть два лучших друга, и мы знакомы с ясельного возраста. Их зовут Роуз и Алла. Сегодня мы учимся вместе в 10-м классе, и я надеюсь, что мы останемся друзьями на всю жизнь. Мы все любим иностранные языки, так что, возможно, мы поступим в один и тот же университет. В прошлом году мы участвовали в программе международного обмена. Во время этого мероприятия вместе с нашим учителем мы посетили США, а затем принимали в Казани наших английских друзей по переписке.

Что касается моей семьи, она всегда будет на первом месте для меня. Помимо родителей у меня есть младшая сестра и бабушка, которая живет с нами. Они всегда рядом, когда мне нужна помощь или поддержка.

However, some people claim that friendship has more advantages than family does. You can discuss an important matter with your friends and they can suggest you a great solution of the problem because friends.

Some people think that family is the most essential part of the life, while others believe that friends perform more important social role for person.

In my opinion, it is hard to deny that the family members is not significant people for a person.

Firstly, family always provides comfort and support for a person in different situations. For some people the family members can become friends. Secondly, family love, protect and guide to child’s future. The family members teaches person moral values at an early age which are carried throughout the life.

My father`s name is Igor. He is thirty-nine years old and works as an accountant in a big international company. He spends a lot of time at work and is really exhausted when he comes back home in the evening. My mother`s name is Mary. She is thirty-six. My mother used to work in a small pharmaceutical company. However, nowadays she is a housewife. She keeps the house clean, cooks for the whole family and takes care of my little brother Peter. He is only two years old. Peter is a very cute and clever child. I enjoy playing with him. It is really funny. My elder sister, Ann, is sixteen years old. Most part of my day I spend with my sister because we study together. Every morning I go to school with her. Sometimes Ann helps me with my homework. When we have spare time we normally go for a walk together.

My name is Sam and I would like to tell you about my family. But to begin with – a few words about myself. I am a schoolboy, twelve years old. I don’t like school very much, but I am a good pupil, because I read a lot of books.

So, as you see, members of our family are very different. Mom is an artist, Dad is a “simple guy” as he calls himself, brother is a smart student with an unusual hobby. I am a quiet boy, I enjoy reading books. I prefer do it in the library, because it is usually rather noisy at home. There are too many people in three rooms. Sometimes we quarrel about something, but it is never serious. I love my family very much and they love me too.
Семья очень важна для каждого из нас. Наши родители, дедушки и бабушки, наши братья и сестры окружают нас с первых дней жизни. Они во многом влияют на нас: на характер, интересы, привычки, поведение.
